About the event
Twins Alfie and Elise wish for things beyond their reach. Their father is missing at war, and the twins seek their own ways out of the harshness of life: Elise just wants to escape from the world, whilst Alfie wants to hide away from it. As a result, they don't feel like siblings anymore. Just before bedtime, their mother presents them with a watch, left by their father as a gift. However, this is no ordinary watch, it's a Wish Watch.
That evening they are visited by The Wish Collector, an enigmatic and energetic character. He is there to make their wishes come true and take them on a journey to The Land of Sometimes, where all four seasons pass in just one day. But he warns them to "be careful what you wish for!"
