Welcome to The Russell Theatre. The Vision for the Town of Lebanon through its Downtown Revitalization efforts and for The Russell Theatre has always been, that it will be a cultural hub highlighting the best of Southwest Virginia and connecting with community. Committed to family, faith, and improving life for our community by investing in the historic downtown. In doing so, we'll strengthen a place and culture that warmly shares traditions with others, creating that hub from which visitors can explore the surrounding area trails and creeks, heritage farms and majestic mountain views. By reinvesting in The Russell Theatre and encouraging our community and neighbors to share their talents as musicians, craftspeople, and outdoor adventurers, we're going to highlight our place with an energy and commitment to each other. We are already seeing progress in the reinvestments in the downtown that I believe will soon highlight the best of a region. We want to be a hub for the entire region that focuses on bringing performing arts to our community. 

 

About the Staff

The Staff at the Russell Theatre also double as Parks & Recreation Staff and work at the Community Recreation Center/Pool and the Parks. All have their Lifeguard Certification and First Aid & Safety training. So, you may catch them all over town in the parks, on the lifeguard stand at the Rec. Center or in the ticket booth at The Russell Theatre. This well-rounded group of young women and men are ready to greet and welcome you with kindness and courtesy at just about every event that takes place in the Town of Lebanon. They look forward to helping you enjoy your visit to the Theatre.
